All animals, cats, dogs, ferrets, and livestock are supposed to be registered with the city. If you haven't registered your dogs and small animals, you need to do so. Larger animals also need to be registered for the safety of the public.
To register your livestock with the city, please contact Officer Cox of the League City Animal Control at 281-554-1377. You must take a dog or cat to a vet, the League City Animal Shelter or City Hall. A sprayed or neutered dog, cat or ferret is free to register. There is a $4.00 fee if they are not. A current rabies certificate must be shown upon registration of pets.
