Even though it's now September it has still been feeling like summer in the Gorge. Here are some pictures of Hood River's new Water Front Park. It has been a popular spot this weekend with the sandy beach and warm weather.

Stevenson, Washington is another fun place to visit in the gorge. Less than an hour from Portland, Stevenson has a friendly small town feeling. If you like to get away from the crowds in the city or even the crowds of Hood River take a drive to Stevenson for a slower pace.
