What can a really good Realtor do for you that you can't do yourself?
Great question if you don't know the answer. Think about it for a minute. You have all the tools we have, although we can use them more efficiently, with two exceptions.
1- You need a Realtor to show you the competition. Can you really drive around the neighborhood and find all the homes that are simaler to yours? Do you know what's inside them? Etc.
2- And this just might be the MOST important of them all. You can't show your home with a neutral atmosphere. You see, when a buyer comes to see you home, they know they are in YOUR home. They want to look at THEIR new home, not yours. So a really good Realtor can set that stage, a "for sale by owner" can't. Your presence kills that. And it could cost you MORE than what you would have paid a Good Realtor their commission. Now ask yourself, "What is a really good Realtor worth"?
