Great info, Debe. How long is the attorney review? We don't have that up here... yet.
Jesse: If we have a 5-day Close, then they can get it done that quickly! Unlike alot of states, the attorneys do the title searches and then do all of the loan reviews, etc. It's sort of like a one-stop shop!
Debe, What would you advise about shopping for homeowners insurance online instead of dealing with one of your local agents. Is it worth going with an online company like NetQuote or HomeInsurance.com. Maybe we should see your list first...
Any feedback would greatly be appreciate to help us find insurance in the Charlotte area, we are going to be new to the local area.
Thanks,
Mike P.
Mike P. ABSOLUTELY! I advise shopping the companies both locally AND online. Once you receive a couple of low quotes, I would even advise going back to those and seeing if they'll compete!
Let me know if you need assistance in finding a new home in Charlotte too!
