I always encourage Sellers to have a Home Inspection at time of listing their property to discover any lurking show-stoppers so that they can be remedied or disclosed prior to an accepted offer from a Buyer.

I agree with you completely.  Professional Home Inspectors can find allot of problems with the property that can be taken care of by the seller before the buyer's inspector finds them.
