Every item demands different care and requires a separate procedure for storing. Extra fragile home articles that can get damaged easily need protective covering before storing them.

If you choose large cardboard cartons for storing then you have to first use a good adhesive tape on the fours corner so that they do not break open when heavy articles are kept inside. At the base of cartons, you should place thick curtains before storing fragile items and photo frames. The curtains act as shock absorbers. Do not forget put correct tags on the boxes so that you do not have a tough out finding all your articles while unpacking.

Crockery and glassware require special attention. You should make it a point to individually bubble wrap every item. If you do not have bubble wrap, then you can use newspapers as well. When you store books in cartons, just put some naphthalene balls. If it is the rainy season then you can also drop some talcum powder in between the pages. You cannot have any problem at home if you keep in mind these simple storage tips.
