A core value, of Stage It Forward is that by creating one united voice... all home stagers will benefit.

Since the groups start-up in November 2006 I have been "Editor" of the group... which means I select and give a small yellow star to those posts WITHIN OUR group that are featured each day.

Recently, I had lunch with fellow stager and group memeber, James Frazier. We were talking about the group, and managing all the great posts so many have written and how it could be "done better"... and still keep the group's dynamic fresh and fair.

We came up with the idea of creating ROTATING EDITORS... so that all expressions of staging have equal opportunity to share in guiding the voice we collectively speak each day.

So for this month, James is in the "editor's" seat of Stage It Forward...

I invite you to welcome James. And thanks James!

Craig

PS: PLEASE let me know if you are or know of anyone interested in being a Stage It Forward "EDITOR" in the future... I will throw your name into the hat.

Craig, This seems like a good idea for the group but also for you. It would seem to me the task could be daunting after a while. Yet, knowing you only had to do it for a month makes it seem more managable. Hope James stops by here so he will know we are happy to have him on this task.

Nice break for you, Craig, and great choice for the first Editor of the month.  Referred to you both in a comment  on my friend, and fellow Home Stager, Monique Fisher's first blog, as being people she'd learn much from. So far, I've been more of a commenter than a blogger, and you are both on my subscription list.

.  Oh, BTW, Monique and a number of newer AR members could have joined you for lunch, if we'd only known!  There are quite a few of us between Chicago/Park Ridge and Rockford.  Most of us know each other from the MRSA, MSIR, the new SRA, and the SDP.  Is that enough initials?  Sounds more like the military we were in years ago, rather than Staging or Redesign.

Thanks for sharing.

Well now, that's just super!  I agree with Joan.  James is a great choice for first editor of the month.

James - You'll do an incredible job, I'm sure of it.

I think you and James could use a nice trip to NYC.  You could have lunch with Val and me.

I had NO IDEA Craig was managing this group this whole time. That's a lot of work, mate!

Thanks for agreeing to this, James!

Craig, I'd happily manage the group as a guest editor. Add me to the list!

I'll try not to let this go to my head. But you must admit "Editor-in-Chief is pretty heady stuff.
