To celebrate our progress over the first year of our stewardship we are officially changing our name to Coweta Club at Arbor Springs Plantation. According to new golf course owner Richard Magner, “the new name reflects partly on the Coweta Indians who were a brave branch of the Creek Indians, original inhabitants of this area.” “We are proud to carry the name Coweta forward in their honor,” said Magner. According to Magner, “significant improvements will now label us as a truly different facility. We believe that with the golf course enhancements we are well on our way to bringing Coweta Club to a new level of appreciation by the discriminating golfer. Our dining experience, whether for lunch or our evening fare, is gaining favor with more and more of the local community. As we enter our second year we thank all of you who have given us such great encouragement and support,” said Magner. Coweta Club is not just for golfers, however. In addition to an 18 hole championship golf course, there are also facilities for weddings, receptions, parties, and an outdoor pavilion for family gatherings. You can plan your special event with Executive Chef, Lance Jeffers, in the dining room, outside on the beautifully landscaped lawn or in the outside covered pavilion. Coweta Club is open to the public and is located inside Arbor Springs Plantation, offering large 1 to 3 acre custom home sites for sale. The High Ridge Point phase offers many golf course sites. Among the many advantages to living in Arbor Springs Plantation is being able to have every amenity at your doorstep. Coweta Club at Arbor Springs Plantation is located northeast of Newnan off Hwy. 29 north. You can contact Sean Renaud, P.G.A. Head Golf Professional or Executive Chef, Lance Jeffers at 770-683-4727.
