Have you ever been really drawn to someones avatar?  It  happens to me often..not in the way that someone looks but the warmth I feel from the photo.  One of my good friends on the rain is Don Rogers who sells real estate in Missouri.  We've had the opportunity to speak a few times and every time I learn something new about him.

Monday I had the blahs..its been a very hectic few weeks...before I left a little box arrived..I opened it and it was from Don Rogers..let's just say I had a big smile on my face with teary eyes...instantly I thought..the man has intuition..maybe my blogging is reflecting how I am feeling..maybe I should write in my journal again.

When Don and I spoke it was a very special day for him..he was doing his final task as the Past President Of His Board Of REALTORS...not only was I impressed..I felt joy and a little sadness at the same time.  I was thinking how amazing is that..3 year commitment to his fellow REALTORS..as President Elect, The President and know completing his final obligation as Past President..

My heart just beat a little faster!  I wonder if he is going to miss it?  The end..and a new beginning.

While talking with Don and with the friendship we have.  I told him this was intuition..because it really brightened my day and I really needed to smile.  I got gutsy and asked him a question...have my posts been OK?  My posts have been fine.. it was just because I wanted to say thank you.....something just told him to do it..you have to know I got a little choked up.and really by asking him that question it made the box and the telephone call even more special.  My friend Don might not agree but I still think its his intuition..and you have to know..it made a difference for the rest of the day!

I dedicate this song to you Sir.."To a job well done!" I appreciate every conversation we have had and I'm happy I was drawn to your avatar!

If you are looking for a top notch REALTOR in St. Charles County Missouri, please call Don Rogers..I'm sure with his intuition he'll find the right home for you! Don Rogers-CRS, GRI, Broker/Sales Associate

Midori, that is a beautiful story.  I love it when we make connections like this.  There are a few people on here that just the right word on a Post, or a mail can put me into a fantastic mood.  Many times, as you said, it seems to be intuition.  but in my case it wasn't from the Avatars.....but from watching their comments around the Rain :)  Now try to keep part of that smile for those blue days.....You are one of the special ones here.

Midori, Midori, Midori, what am I gonna do with you?  I read the post and blushed!  I took my dog for a walk around the block and allowed her to take her time and thought about how I would respond to your very kind words.  I came back into the house and listened to your song dedication and tried to find the words to say.  I have blushed, I have shed a tear and have been humbled.  And this is one of those tomes that I have been absolutely held to a speechless state.  So how do you respond?  Very simply by saying........THANK YOU MA'AM!  You are a very special friend.

Hi Midori, isn't Don a sweetie? I got one of those special little packages from him a while ago and I have to say it caused quite a stir in my office. Stephen was at work with me on this particular day and we all shared a laugh because it was one of the very few times I have left home without my Nikon. I wanted to take a picture so bad and send it to him because my kid was parading around with this lovely pail of candy. I still have his gift. It sits on the shelf in my office right over my monitor and I absolutely love how it makes me feel. I don't want to eat them because I actually treasure them. Don is truly such a sweetie! I am so glad that he brightened your day! :-)
