Brentwood is an affluent neighborhood in Los Angeles Westside. Located at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, bounded by the San Diego Freeway on the east, Wilshire Boulevard on the south, the Santa Monica city limits on the southwest, the border of Topanga State Park on the west and Mulholland Drive along the ridgeline of the mountains on the north.

What was once part of Rancho San Vicente y Santa Monica and an agricultural district, Brent wood is now populated by executives and professionals. There are a number of neighborhood subdivisions in Brentwood. They are as follows: Brentwood Circle: Gated community east of Barrington and north of Sunset: Brentwood Country Estates, Brentwood Flats, Brentwood Glen, Brentwood Heights, Brentwood Highlands, Brentwood Hills, Brentwood Park, Brentwood Terrace, Southwest edge of Brentwood, Bundy Canyon, Crestwood Hills, Kenter Canyon, Mandeville Canyon, Mountaingate, Museum Heights, South Brentwood, Sullivan Canyon, Westgate, Westridge Hills and Westridge Heights.

Brentwood is one of the most desirable and upscale neighborhoods in Los Angeles. There are many coffee shops and restaurants to choose from, especially at the corner of Barrington and San Vicente where you will find a 2 block region of shops, restaurants and café's.  For restaurants check out The Brentwood, Chin Chin, The Coral Tree Café, Daily Grill, Gaucho Grill, La Scalal Presto, La Pain Quotidien, Toscana or Vicenti. Check out the Brentwood Farmers market on Sunday for fresh fruit & veggies.
