Northern Virginia Homes - Northern VA Homes Sold August 2008 By County

MRIS* just released the statistics today September 10, 2008 for regional and Northern Virginia homes sold in our MLS system for August 2008.  I've broken down the the monthly statistics by homes sold in individual counties in northern Virginia so you could see the actual numbers of homes sold in each in August 2008.  The statistics I included are  for homes in Arlington, Culpeper, Fauquier, Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Stafford, and Spotsylvania Counties all of which are located in northern Virginia.  It is interesting to note that in all areas the numbers of home sales increased over last year, but they are still substantially below the peaks of the market.  Also, there will be several charts I will produce and they will include home prices, days on market and more.
