Technology has advanced in every facet of life.  We use technology for everything now.  Do you even know anyone who does not have a cell phone?  I know more people now that do not have a home phone.  And with technology advancements, come home advancement.  Homeowners want their home to advance as well. 

PDA The home automation industry has risen considerably in the past few years.  For homeowners it is all about convenience.  We want our blinds to go up instantly, and our lights to dim with the push of a button.   Many vendors now are offering a package to builders, which include remote home monitoring and automation.  One of these brillant vendors is offering new software that allows the user to monitor their home control system from your PDA (or any device with a web browser).   The software is called WL3, it monitors your home and updates you when gates are opened, cars enter, and even when the alarm is activated or turned off.  But that is not all.... You can also adjust your lights, and home's temperature.  The possibilities are endless. 

The future is here, now we all need to just embrace it.

The future is here! I thought it was yesterday! I can't keep up sometimes. LOL

Unfortunately, I think Big Brother is here, too. I can't even go shopping anymore without my ugly mug showing up on all the monitors hanging and the ends of all the aisles.
