Yes, always if this is possible. Questions should be asked by the buyer about the new Home they are buying to know just what they are getting for their money. The inspector needs to point out both the GOOD points as well as the repairs or maintenance issue that need to be attended to. No home is perfect, both the buyer, seller and agent should realizethis. A full report with pictures should list the items found with a summary at the end for a record that is easy to read and understand for the customer to refer back to when making one of the biggest decisions of there lives.

Most good reports come with between 30-40 pages of findins, along with there pictures. Be sure you hire a certified inspector from ASHI. This stands for American Society of Home Inspectors. This body of inspectors continues to educate itself on all phase of new construction. It also requires it,s inspectors to have continuing education on a yearly bases.

In closing, I would like comments back from all persons that think inspections are nessary or not. And if not why?

Thanks, Bob
