Several years ago ,in my LBRE, Life Before Real Estate, I had my own Food Service Company. One of my earliest lessons was that my business wasn't just about my Employees or my Customers it was also about my Suppliers!
Ours was a very symbiotic relationship. If I did well by them...they did well by me. If I had the courtesy to have an order ready on time and filled in correctly, if I arranged for Sales calls convenient to both partys, if I made a point to Thank them for their efforts or pass on a thumbs up to a boss if I was appreciative,courteous and fair....it was all to my benefit.
If I needed a last minute product ...it was hand delivered. If I had a slow week on receipts...it was ok. If I forgot ...they reminded me! It was a partnership. I was not the only person responsible for my success!
I have since discovered that Real Estate is no different. I have spent the past few years building associations that help my business work. Associations that make me look good to my Clients because we all work together towards the common goal of making my Customers happy.
I work with Lenders who return phone calls and bend over backwards for my Clients. Home Inspectors who's time schedules are flexible, and other Realtors who will negotiate with civility! I would like to expand that circle of co-operation to include Home Stagers. Their time has come.
They are still a rarity here in Concord,NH. Even more so In the entirety of Merrimack County. but as goes Massachusetts....so goes New Hampshire! I'm sure ready and I'm excited! Who knows...maybe it will give me a bit of an "Edge".
