It's Lovely I'll Take It - Hilarious Pictures from the MLS

By
Services for Real Estate Pros

A fellow Realtor (R) recently pointed me to a hilarious real estate website called It's Lovely, I'll Take It.

The site features comical photos that have been submitted from all over the country that were included in actual listings on an MLS system.

Some of the photos look very familiar to ones I've seen on our MLS. One of the most annoying is bathroom pictures with the toilet lid open - that's not going to bring in potential buyers.

If you need a good chuckle or want to make sure that you're not making any of these mistakes, then check out this fun site at http://lovelylisting.blogspot.com.

Kevin and Monica:  That is such a lovely home.  Is this the before picture, or the after picture ?  Hmmm... I wonder what the home inspection will look like ?

Wow to think that people would actually use those photos to market a listing on the MLS? Those are so terrible they should be fined and charged for a violation for posting those.

Thanks for sharing.  Those are really funny.  I often wonder what agents are thinking when they post some of the photos and descriptions they do.  And then there are the descriptions of the home with spectacular pool, huge master suite with imported Italian tile, etc., etc, and the only photo is of a couch against a window!  Why not show us the great stuff?  It's a mystery to me!

I can't believe the MLS would include this photo on their system. Hopefully it was being sold for land value only or it might make a good flip. Thanks for the link.

Well, maybe they were selling the land.  You could get a great view from the second floor.  Something tells me when people ask for a fixer-upper this might not be it.
