A Feng Shui Testimonial: Jennifer's Story by Feng Shui Long Island & New York

It is said that pictures say a thousand words.  They do.  So then do the words that we write have a profound impact on those that read it.  Whether we are blogging, commenting, or writing articles something you write may well touch a nerve with someone reading it.

Our articles and blogs are found years after we write them.  And it may be the very thing that will make someone decide to work with you.  In the case of Feng Shui Testimonials it is very difficult for my clients, no matter how grateful they are to write them.  Perhaps they don't want to be associated with Feng Shui or perhaps they don't want to take the time.  The emails that I receive include a wealth of thanks but if I ask for a testimonial often times it never comes.

Except with Jennifer.  Who's life changed in the course of several months. Jennifer lives in Orange County, California where there are more then enough Feng Shui Consultants to have done an on-site consultation for her.  But it was MY words from a long ago article that she read and decided to contact me.  And in speaking with her, she gave me her trust and learned to look at the world and her environment differently, through Feng Shui Eyes. 

Many believe a Feng Shui Consultant has to be ON their property to have an effective Feng Shui Consultation.  Here's what one person wrote as a testimonial---and I hope it helps others who are wrestling with making a decision to have a Feng Shui Consultation.  It is, more then anything, Jennifer's Story---and it is POWERFUL.  I hope you can take the time to read it.

"It was a calm January 2008 as I searched the internet on tips for organizing and decluttering my home. I needed something motivating and something new. I knew I needed something. I had managed to pack away the holiday decorations and have the house cleaned. I wanted a spark of energy back in my home and in my heart. It had been a long 8 ½ years. I had just completed an Autism early intervention program for my son diagnosed with Autism. The divorce was over in paper anyway and I was regaining my stability from the hardship of that process. I was also wanting new possibilities, some inspiration and my own personal happiness. I was grateful for my blessings but I was also depleted and exhausted. What I was asking for was a new beginning and a second chance. I needed a new energy and a new spirit.

I received by answer to this knowing empty feeling. The good thing about being depleted is I was very open to a new process. This openness introduced me to a whole new universe - Feng Shui.

I saw an article late January that inspired me that when a person comes into your life or is removed from your life it is for a reason. A good reason. Carole had come into my life through email. Her response was immediate and was filled with happiness and energy. It stated, "Greetings" and ended with "Many Blessings" I responded to the article on the energy of Feng Shui to clear your home and clear your inside heart and mind. Her voice was so calm and soothing, that for a depleted soul that is like water to a dry plant.

The process was simple. She would send me information and I was to take pictures of my entire home including each and every room. I was also suppose to purchase red envelopes and in 9 areas of my life start stating my intentions for what I wanted. I had one book I had discovered and she simply said, "Stay with that one book." The materials came and the first was to remove the house clutter. Carole was reviewing my pictures which I had made a second set of and we had our consultation over the phone. The consult was so reasonable. The cost of Starbarks for a few weeks and a pair of nice shoes for work and I was in my consult.

The day of the consult was the day the universe was introduced to me. As Carole guided me through each room I suddenly saw my old life for what it was, an old life. With each Feng Shui cure, balance, or insight I felt my inside heart fill with hope, possibility, inspiration and happiness. As I continued the process of clearing my home and this coincided with clearing my heart and mind I noticed I was smiling and looking forward to the seond half of our consult over the phone. I saw things for the house appear and nothing was too expensive.

Suddenly furniture I could have never thought of letting go of was gone and there was a humming of happiness in the rooms of my home. I was discovering art, plants, flowers and colors I loved.  I wanted to clear out all the "old" and feel this stir of energy that lifted me and made me smile. Chi (energy) was awakened in my home and more so it was awakened in me. I sent my 9 red envelopes almost like a student who never knows how the end for graduation will be accomplished, but submits the homework assignments dutifully. It was at the beginning of March I found Valentine items on sale and was enjoying the hearts and red and pink colors and taking down single pictures of a solitary woman in my bedroom.

The most remarkable part of the process was I realized I was enjoying myself, and excited to wake up in the morning and my talk changed from worries, or exhaustion to beauty and art and looking at all "things" around me as living and breathing and what kind of breath was I taking in? Each room was recreated and the comments and feedback from friends was astounding. No more was it talk of all the paperwork, therapy materials or legal papers and bills piled up stuck in my home. It was of beauty and colors and lightness and music playing and candles burning and chimes ringing. Sadness started lifting. Carole's wisdom, art and skill was generously given in the second half of the consult and the follow up calls and emails. "GREETINGS and BLESSINGS" started appearing in my emails and my introductions on phone calls. I saw people's faces lift and light return to their eyes. Each area as I learned in the Bagua Map was strong, thriving and supporting my entire life in the outside world. The cold cruel world suddenly become, friendly and warm and cozy! I felt so content and balanced and happy inside that I wasn't even concerned with my intentions materializing from my nine red envelopes that I had submitted as part of the process.

One morning I woke up, filled with gratitude and I realized, I have cultivated a new way of seeing the world and myself and my heart. The shackles from all the hardships felt like they were falling away. This sweet quiet of chi energy filled my house, encouraging me and supporting me. Within a few weeks of the final part of the consult, energy shifted. Things started changing. Money was coming from all resources, child support that was long over due arrived. Tax refund was double what it normally is. My son's disability symptoms started receding and he was getting even happier with his new school and routine. After car problems for years, I was able to easily finance a new beautiful car. The toxic job suddenly didn't feel like it was oppressing me, and interview opportunities were popping up and phone calls coming in. One I wanted didn't offer the opportunity to me, only to have me wait 6 weeks and the perfect dream job was delivered. Positive environment, 6 minutes from the house, dynamic but good people, the egos I had been contending with were gone.

Quality men started to get a hold of me from an online dating site and I was able to spend time with one man during the summer. He faded away and instead of being in despair I was in my good energy, and then an even nicer person appeared. My son and I enjoyed the best vacation of our lives and because I gave notice at my previous employer I received a full pay out of all my vacation time and was given a huge check upon leaving. My shiny red car, and beautiful flowers, red pillows and artwork were shining in my home. My son and I were beaming with happiness. The daily life duties didn't seem so hard and the hardships were put in the past.

The nice things are wonderful, happiness is amazing. I feel I was given a gift of "Feng Shui eyes" and I am forever changed. My life feels like it is just beginning and I am in this new universe that is uplifting and filled with possibilities. All that I am asked is to give great care to my home through the Bagua areas in my likes and tastes for enhancing my home. It is a manageable process and I feel guided and supported through having a consultant. I encourage anyone who is ready for a whole new outlook and inspiration and motivation to have a consultation with Carole.
