Yesterday I wrote about what a great Friday it was going to be. Well it turned out not to be a great Friday. It turned out to be an awesome Friday!
Those of you who having been following the saga of the great buyers/off the wall sellers will be happy to know that last night we made the deal. When I called my buyers, they were so happy they started to cry. I asked one of the buyers if she was crying because she was happy. All she could get out was yyyyyyes. They kept crying for about an hour. They were so relieved. It really was the house they wanted.
I was actually very surprised they took it so hard. I didn't realize thery were so emotionally attached to that house. I guess in a certain respect, I don't think they realized it either.
Hopefully now the sellers will settle down and this will be an easy transaction for my buyers sake. They can't take much more stress. (neither can I)
The sad thing is we wasted a week with the nonsense so now we have to rush to get the financing in place and close by September 30th. Oh well, all's well that ends well. I will keep a positive attitude, pray a lot and stay on top of this transaction like nobody's business.
