Is it Spring Again?

I recently went to Australia, and they are just beginning spring there. I envy them because I am not looking forward to winter.

I took these pictures at the Royal Botanic Gardens in Sydney, Australia. It rained many of the days we were there so I got a chance to take pictures of flowers with raindrops on them. It was getting dark outside but I was still able to get a few shots. My camera does not do well in twilight, and I have not figured out how to adjust it manually.

The rose garden is not in bloom yet, but I was able to get a picture of a rose.

Julie, Some more great shots, I really like how your captured the dew on the tulips.

Gorgeous photo's Julie, some of them look like paintings! You are a very talented photographer. I'm with you on winter, I'm not looking forward to the cold weather.

I was thinking that we should have traveled somewhere at least as warm as our hometown.

Julie, The pictures are beautiful. It looks like they had recently been watered, or is that dew?

Julie, you take great pictures. Can I ask what kind of camera you have? Those flowers are very vibrant and beautiful, you captured it well.

Bob it was pouring for days while we were there. It was a challenge to keep the rain off the lens.

Kodak DX 7440. I think they have cameras now with more megapixels and zoom. I want to find a capture more light. Some of my pictures turned out to dark to use because it was twilight when we were in the gardens.

Julie, these are wonderful photos. The colors are so crisp and vibrant and I like that you can see the dew drops.

I think that I will take rain gear with me next time I go to Australia. Especially if it says there is a chance of rain.
