New Logo Competition

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty

I need help with designing a logo for my Real Estate Business. I am an agent at Keller Williams Real Estate operating under the name Solinsky Home Team. You can see my current logo at www.SolinskyHomeTeam.com or on my profile page.

As of October 1, I will be changing the name of my business to West Valley Home Team. I'll continue to conduct business at Keller Williams, so West Valley Home Team at Keller Williams would work too.

Currently, I'm using the slogan, "Bringing Home Your Dreams".

I am open to ideas and samples of what you can do to be my logo designer. Let me know if you have further questions.

Submit your design for my logo with your name, phone number and email address by Tuesday, Sept. 16 at 11:59pm. I'll select the one I like best and award the winner (prize to be determined).

Winning logo will be featured on my website on October 1, 2008 and the winner will be highlighted in my blog at www.BlogsByBrian.com

Thank you for your help.

There are talented people on AR: HA Media Group, they did  aterrific job (a big one) for one of the famous real estate gurus.

You may search for Inna Hardison, and from her page go to their own website and see what they do. I am not sure that they would jump on it, as they usually are good with the concepts of campaigns and then doing the whole thing, but just in case I sent them an e-mail from this post.

Interesting post.  Can hardly wait to see the winning entry.  Awhile back I considered going free-lance with a business idea of mine.  I looked into having a logo designed, and yikes, it was pretty costly.

Brian - Hi. Firs, congrats on a nifty idea of getting a logo designed, it's certainaly original, at least outside of the design circles.  On a business side thoguh, the name of the company is hardly enough information to capture the brand, and that is all you are providing. Designing a logo that makes sense long-term and in a variety of media takes quite a bit of time, and the more connected a person doing the work feels to the company, the easier it would be for someone to come up with a concept.

I would also suggest that if you are unwilling or unable to hire someone to do this for you, post this request on forums for designers.

Good luck!
