Very impressive Kathy!  I really like the fun chairs in the living room.  The home is beautiful with great windows too.  Nicely done!

Aloha Kathy,

Absolutely Fabulous darling, very well done.  I think I would call the house more neo-Georgian in style than colonial, it's a little too grand to be merely colonial with the balustrades, pillars, and gables and such.

Peace,

Chrissie ~ Thank you, and yes, it is!  I only did the first floor, but that included the master bedroom, and a guest bedroom (or maid's quarters).  Upstairs were a couple more bedrooms, bathrooms and a really large area that would be great for a family with kids PLUS, as if that wasn't enough, a full basement.  While unfinished, that basement has so much potential.

I had to break it up into two days, because the furniture delivery is only available certain days, and then I used a Saturday for the actual staging, so in total about 8 hours at the house.

Elaine ~ Thank you!  That means a lot to me coming from you Mistress Elaine! : )

Michele ~ Thanks!  I didn't propose window treatments because of the windows in this house.  I thought the living room and dining room windows were really nice, and there are french doors all along the back of the house, including the two bedrooms on this floor.

Aloha Kimo ~ Thank you!  You might be right about it being neo-Georgian.  I, however, took my description cue from the realtor! : )

Teresa ~ Thanks so much!  As you can see from my response to Chrissie, it was about 8 hours in the house, and I forgot to mention that I also had two assistants helping me on staging day.

Heather ~ Thank you, once again! : )

Dane ~ Thank you!  It is big, and probably feels that way because it is open.  The neighborhood does seem really nice.  All the houses seem to be well-kept and landscaped neatly. There were people walking, biking and jogging on the days I was there.

Charlene ~ Thanks! This is my first real estate show; I like them! : ) There is an open house this weekend, so I'm hoping the realtor will let me know some of the feedback.

Beautiful job Kathy.  You out done yourself.  I hope it will sell quickly.  Great job plugging the realtors name in.  I feel it's important to always mention the realtor listing the property : )

Janet ~ Thanks! I hope so too, and I definitely wanted to have the realtors name in this post, so that any interested parties that might see it through a web search, can contact her directly.

Kathleen ~ Thank you - it doesn't look it in the picture, but that comforter has red in it.   I think the pattern just tones it down so it doesn't come across as red as in those accessories.

Danny ~ Thank you! It really is a difference from when I first saw it empty.

You did a great job staging this home!!  It looks very warm and inviting and you clearly showed how furniture can fit in the spaces throughout.  I love the chairs in the room to the right upon entering the home.  Thank you for sharing!

Kathy - It looks fabulous! The whole house is wonderful, but I really love lamps in the guest bedroom. They are playful but still elegant.

Tracy ~ Thank you!  I went to the Broker's Open on Friday and before they knew who I was, I heard a lot of good feedback!  I'm really pleased with the way it turned out.  That's the living room.  This whole area of the house is open (living room, dining room and family room).

Tanya ~ Thanks!  I was going to use those lamps in the dining room originally, but when I put them down next to the bedding I had gotten I thought they went together really well, so they wound up in the guest bedroom.

Kathy I loved how you wrote little sayings by your photos.  I wasnt able to figure that out.  Everytime I tried to enter something in the description part it didn't work.  Can you tell me how you uploaded your virtual tour.  Thanks for all the advice.  Janet

Janet ~ Thank you!  You have to type that in after you have the picture inserted.  The description only comes to life when you hover your cursor over the picture.  I can send you an e-mail about the real estate show (this was my first one), or you can search here on AR, where I know others have posted about using it and the how's involved.
