The moon has been beautiful the last few nights and I love to take pictures so I keep my camera in my car so was able to get these shots with my zoom lens.

I've been working with Picasa and trying to learn the features.  This collection was done in the collage function.

So far, my favorite function on Picasa is the sharpen feature.  You could make your own wall art using this program.  http://picasa.google.com/

It can be difficult to photograph the moon! I have tried! Somehow you just can't capture what you see with the naked eye. But, I love Picasa.

Great moon pictures. I got Picassa a few weeks ago but haven't used it much.  Looks like there are many features I should start using.

Justin: Thanks.  I have just learned to use a few of the features and have a lot more to learn.  I want to see if there is a mosiac feature on Picasa.  I'll let you know if I figure that out.

Angelica:  I know what you mean about getting photos of the moon.  My photos look sharper when I'm looking at them on my laptop.  I think a larger zoom lens than my 70-300 zoom would help but that would be pretty pricey.

Funny thing is just a few days ago I considered taking photos of the moon (it's 12/13/08) and didn't know if they would turn out. After seeing your pictures, I'll have to give it a try. You did a fabulous job.

Elizabeth:  Thanks.  Good luck with your photos.  I have tried to get shots of the moon many times - even tried an eclipse.  The eclipse photos were harder.  Moon photos are like kid photos.  You have a take a lot to get a few good ones.  Have fun with it!

Craig:  Thank you.  I am wanting to use Picasa on my listing photos too.  I have only played with that a little so far.  I travel through Sedalia when my family goes to the Lake of the Ozarks.  Have been to Sedalia for the State Fair too.  You have a nice town!
