Celebrate Your Real Estate Success- Ahh Cocoa Puffs!

Ahh Cocoa Puffs!  Remember that crazy bird!  He was a part of my children's lives while they were growing up and evidently the crazy bird impacted me and still affects me today.

Yesterday  while sitting with a new associate we had many interruptions..it normally doesn't happen but yesterday it did.  As a trainer...I have moments...where I am so excited...excited enough to yell ahhh cocoa puffs..I celebrated..another real estate success.

Recently there has been a team of us working to get a short sale done..while in the midst of my training..I got the call..congratulations...your short sale contract was accepted...and within 72 hours you will get the letter!

Relief...personal achievement and before I knew it...I blurted out...ahhh cocoa puffs and the feeling of accomplishment and pure joy set in.  The entire office heard it and that was the point...rather than think about what we do not have celebrate and appreciate every personal triumph!

I can't take all the credit for the short sale, while I am the listing agent it took a total team effort...

The buyer's agent is a real pro and I have enjoyed this long journey with him....the buyer and seller also did their parts...and there were occasions...where I asked the seller to step in.

Ever since I started in real estate from day one...

I have a dance for new listings...and the sales contract dance...even after being in the business since the early 90's...

I get excited...with every achievement and accomplishment that dance exists today.

I don't really know what happened yesterday...That Ahhh cocoa puffs came from somewhere...I must have been thinking about my sons...because in the past...that cocoa puffs dance was strictly for them.

Yesterday I felt the enthusiasm of a new REALTOR I feel charged....and ready to face today. How about you?  Do you still get excited?  With your contracts...with your listings..with the real estate business?

For every sale you miss because you're too enthusiastic, you will miss a hundred because you're not enthusiastic enough. Zig Ziglar quotes

Midori, I always do the "Snoopy Dance!"  Like Snoopy from Charlie Brown with your head back and your hands out and a giant smile!

I also sing the "Told Ya So Song" to my husband with jazz hands. I borrowed it from Debbie Reynolds on Will & Grace.

How about Yabba-Dabba-Doo! I always like a successful deal, especially, when everyone is happy, then you really feel that sense of accomplishment.
