Nu Nu and Cherry

 Cherry's immigration case is being reviewed in Washington DC by the Humanitarian Department.

MOTHER HAS NOT SEEN HER DAUGHTER IN SIX YEARS  posted 2-27-2008

 Our Attorney called us to let us know that everything is looking good. There is a great possibility that Cherry may be in the United States with her mother Nu Nu by the end of this year.

 I will keep everyone informed of any changes in this matter, and thank you everyone from Active Rain for your comments and concerns.

Best of luck, sounds like everything will work out eventually.  It's too bad you need caseworkers and stuff, just tell a judge what's going on and live with the ruling.  Case closed one week tops.

Robert, I just went to your post from February and can't believe how much your wife has been through. I can't imagine being separated from my child for six years. I hope Cherry will be in the US soon.

Going threw the Red tape with Home Land Security is a real let down. And being born and raised in America, I can not believe what they have put us through.

I have contacted President George Bush, Hillary Clinton and even had Senator Harry Reid's office working on Cherry's case. What has happened to this country where they will take so long to bring a mother and daughter together. Cherry is not a criminal, she is a gentle little 8 year old wanting to live with her mother and father. And then you look at all the illegals coming into the country, it really is a sad situation.
