Well it finally happened to me! I was doing my floor duty and when alas my phone rang.. Ooh I wonder who is calling, its a new number not programmed in my phone. Perhaps a customer when my ear tilts and I hear this is so and so from xyzpdq marketing. 

Ok I have some spare time so I am going to listen to what this guy is saying. Don't ask me why.. maybe I like to torture myself like that.

He asks me the question, How do you market yourself on the internet? My reply was "umm.. well what do you mean exactly?

How much do you spend to market yourself on the internet on average? he asks

Well, I really don't keep track.. I respond. 

Is it 500.00 to 1000.00 ? 

Me: Definetly less than 1000.00

xyzpdq:Would you believe I could put you on the first page of google for around 500.00. And its not pay per click.

Me: really??  smiling to myself..

I know a secret... he doesn't .... yet.

Me: Well lets see, so your saying you could put me on the first page of google for how much? While at the same time inputting info into google that brings up an amazing phenomenon... I am already on the first page... in fact #3,4,5,6.

I ask him are you at your computer right now? so, if you input my name etc. what do you find right now?

Active rain is a beautiful thing.

I guess I am doing alright as far as internet marketing  Hello? Hello, xyzpdq are you there?

And I didn't even get to bring up the Yahoo page...darn.

You see, I input all of my listings on my active rain blog, I blog about random things, I learn about various markets and strategies, I give encouragement, I cry, I laugh and I have fun. I also have a webpage for each of my listings.
