Well it seems as if this election is stooping to new and better lows. As most of you may have heard by now, Palin's Yahoo email got hacked... Now I'm hacked off... Will the left stop at noting to 'dig up dirt' to destroy this lady? Why is it that Obama's and Biden's email accounts have not been hacked, and if Yahoo's email client is supposed to be so 'secure' how did hackers gain access?

It just seems as if there are more questions than answers here folks. Why not hear what this woman has to say before judging her? It really seems as if the opponents on the left are doing their best to belittle her experience and abilities and making her look like some stupid bimbo that just trudged out of the tundra. I say stop the BS and give the woman a chance to go where no woman has gone before. Give her a chance. Listen to what she has to say and then judge her on Election day...

End of rant... Have a great week Y'all....

Michael

HHmm, I hadn't seen this in the news yet, but not surprised. Obama is getting nervous that the VP for the competition is better qualified than he is. My comment for Obama .... If you can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch.

Whoever did this should be caught and prosecuted, period. What pisses me off even more is that some left wing sites are saying...see, she's using a personal site to conduct State business, which is illegal. I believe that whoever did this is going to find that it will backfire big time.

Sean... I agree. Maybe she is. Funny how even Biden said that Obama should have given Hillary the nod...

Richard... As ususal, the left is going to put their evil spin on this. I hope that this does backfire and who ever did the hacking and whoever let them in gets thrown under the jail house and not let out...

Maybe because John McCain can't use a computer? LOL! Seriously, I do not condone criminal activity at any level even Dick Cheney's transgressions against the constitution.

Michael - I hadn't heard this yet, thanks for sharing the information. There are some people for whom the ends justifies the means, at any cost.

Charles... Yes, I do remember watergate, and Nixon and his cronies paid the price, or at least someone paid the price. Check out the latest post on Blogs Happen group to vote on the final 3 picks...

Mike... True, so true...

John... Since McCain can't use a computer, the country is safe... LOL

Since when is ranting about another person in her office "business".  I love how everyone takes bits and pieces of stories and twists them to prove what ever point they are trying to make.  The fact is these people that hacked into her emails need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.  If they try to make an issue of the business she was conducting on personal emails, I would not be surprised.  The fact is they were obtained ILLEGALLY!!!!

It does amaze me when those who claim to stand for righteousness and fair values get involved in something like this. Fair tactics apply to the other side, they seem to be able to do as they want. Obama may not have anything to do with it, but his side does.

These hackers, presumably, are from the party that's bigger on supporting the ACLU.  Yet they somehow believe they're completely justified in violating someone's privacy.

Also, I'm not surprised by the lack of any response from Obama... but it sure would be nice to hear Obama denounce their actions, echo McCain's call for a full investigation, and call for an end to such criminal activity, and other personal attacks.

Mike I heard earlier today that's why the President and VP don't use email.  Who really knows the truth anymore.  They actually said that Bill and Hillary Clinton didn't know how to type so they didn't use email.  Its still scary that they have hacked into Palin's email.  We have no protection of anything anymore.

Amen, Michael. The women should be given a fair chance to make and take her place on election day. There is always too much BS during pre election, but this year appears to be outdoing all past years.

Ridiculous and an invasion of her privacy. They could find nothing but personal stuff anyway. This is scary that someone would be allowed to do it. I heard they were going to have felony charges, but haven't heard who yet.

Michael, Very good points made here both in your blog and in the comments.  I want to know about her ideas and plans and I want to know what she can do for us.  Based on her track record, I can understand the fear surrounding her.  Would the financial industry be in the mees they are in with someone like her at their heels?

I think that this is another good example, if there is a positive spin, as to just how Email lacks security. I saw some speculation that the hacker probably got in merely by fooling around with Palin's "lost password" feature that is on about every account you have probably. Get the right word in there, to answer a question, and viola, you are in.

Surprise, surprise - I hear it was a democrat!!  Leave the woman alone - she's a hockey mom and she herself said the only difference between a hockey mom and a pit bull was lipstick!!  My divorce attorney had her email at yahoo hacked too, I'm sure it wasn't a democrat though.

If she is going to be just a heartbeat away from the presidency, I'd like to know more about her. I love to give people a chance, but they also have to cooperate, which she doesn't seem to be doing. IMHO.

Getting to know the candidate can be done without such an invasion of privacy. This type of hacking is just as invasive as someone opening your personal mail, looking through your closet to find out what kind of underwear you wear, looking in your mouth to see if you have real teeth or dentures (the public has the right to know!).

3:40am • #19

If Palin doesn't want to give "the public" the personal information they're asking for, that's her perogative.  Similarly, if "the public" doesn't have enough information about Palin to vote for her confidently they don't have to, that's their perogative.

Invading her privacy, though, isn't the way to go about getting the information "the public" wants.
