If you live in Dover Shores, you have access to 3 private beaches. These beaches are used by the residents year round, but they also have summer programs. The most used beach is Larry's Beach located on Polaris between Morning Star and Evening Star Lanes. Larrys Beach has picnic facilities, tetherball, swings, climbing equipment, basket ball court, and volleyball. This is Larrys Beach.
Another Beach is North Star Beach, this beach is located on the corner of North Star Lane and Polaris Dr. This beach has a basketball court, volleyball, and a beautiful view.
The Newport Beach Aquatic Center is also in the Dover Shores area. At the Aquatic Center you can store your boats, rent kayacks, or join the crew team.
