Bodega Bay Day!

Reblogger Pam Winterbauer

I have been at our leadership retreat at Bodega Bay for the last two days and it was packed with some informative speakers. The retreat was put on by the Contra Costa and Bay East Association of Realtors.

On our last day we heard Leslie Appleton-Young, chief economist for the California Association of Realtors and John Ansbach.  Both were packed with so much information to assist us in our leadership over the next few years.

I decided to hang out for another day and toodle around the town.  I am headed home today to put into place some of what I learned.

Today and tomorrow I am at a leadership conference in Bodega Bay. It is such a cute and quaint place to be with a view of the bay. We had two speakers today. Carole Rodoni speaking on the Global Economy and the effects on the two Realtor associations that are team building together today. Like she said, "Housing Markets never stay down, they always come back. is now the time to buy?"

The other speaker was Michael Tchong. He spoke on the New Social Dialog and Trends. It seems that Facebook is a great marketing to tool to ask clients and other to join your group. It is great social networking for business.

I cannot wait to hear tomorrow's speakers. This does help with ideas and innovations to make our business thrive in a frustrating market.

Bodega Bay is a great town. This is where Alfred Hitchcock filmed "The Birds". The only birds I saw today were a few seagulls and Pelicans. If you are ever in the San Francisco Bay Area it is worth a trip to visit this cute town!
