The Squirrel went BEZERK!!

Have you ever heard that song?   "the day the squirrel went bezerk in the first self rightous church!"Well, that is what was going on in MY bedroom!!! 

This is THE MIGHTY HUNTER that thinks I NEED a squirrel in my bedroom!! lol

Three times now this cat has caught a squirrel and brought it ALIVE into my bedroom and put it under my bed!

Last night I was getting ready for bed, sitting at the foot of the bed and I saw him from the corner of my eye slither under the bed and I heard a loud squeal!!  I looked under there and thought he had a bat!  We have lots of bats around and Nermal has been known to catch bats in the past.

My teenage son donned the leather work gloves and went after the animal.  It was a sight to be seen!  The squirrel got loose, SHOT up the wall at the head of the bed, leapt across the bed in a single bound and scaled the dresser!  By this time, the dog was in on the action too!   I wish I had a video.

The squirrel reeked havoc for about 10 minutes before my son caught him and tossed him out the bathroom window.  My cat, Nermal is STILL angry with me and keeps trying to swat me with his claws everytime I come near him!  The dog had to be kennelled because he would NOT quit trying to find the squirrel in the bedroom and was driving me nuts!

I just wish he would keep them OUTside!!
