getting worse before it gets better

Is it just me or is going to get worse before it gets better. I have been talking to a lot of agents and mortgage people about the market and every body is talking dooms day. If you have not noticed a lot of mortgage companies had closed up shop. I heard one story of people closing at one o'clock and the mortgage company closing the doors at one thirty. Leaving the people at the closing high and dry. True or not what a nightmare. So now agents have one more step in the transaction to check out the mortgage company and make sure they are not going to be gone tomorrow. good luck and talk to you later
