I am getting ready to do some GRI classes and know I could probably call the real estate commission and get answers but thought I may blog about it - I notice some of the classes say GRI -1 and some say GRI - 2 and etc.  How many classes or hours do you have to have to complete the GRI requirements?  Also, the ones that do have the designations, how do you feel about the classes - Crazy question maybe, but do you think having the GRI designation helps you to attract clients - or is it just a title?  Comment if you can - Have a great Friday!

There are 4 GRI modules to complete for the designation, but you don't have to do them in order, nor do you have to complete them within a specific time frame (I think).  I have 1 module completed and it was a 2 day course.  The classes are thorough and very educational, I highly recommend them. 

As for the designations, IMHO, they mean more to you and other Realtors than they do to the general public.  But go for it, because you will learn a lot!  That's NEVER a bad thing!
