Who do YOU trust?????

By
Home Inspector with Advanced Home Inspections

We often get caught up in this technological world that we can forget what it is to provide a basic service to an individual.  In the service related industries, such as home inspection, we often take it for granted that a customer is automatically going to ultimately use our services.  A person is first a "customer" before they become a "client".  Once someone becomes your "customer" then that person learns to expect certain things from you as a service provider.  They in turn become your "client".  This is acknowledging the fact that a past customer is willing to use your services again.

How does one get these repeat customers?  Well, as much as "today's technology" is changing the way home inspectors can do their job, it shouldn't be the only thing that catches a potential customer's attention.  As much as we, as home inspectors, need to go into every inspection with an unbiased view of the house (at our company we refer to this is as "calling it like it is"), the emotional connection still exists on the client's side.  Think about it....your client is making probably the biggest purchase in their life and they're going to follow the advice, in many cases, from someone they've never met before.  Man....let me tell you....that IS trust.

Do YOU think you can handle that pressure?

Noooo Problem!

Why?

Because it's OUR duty to the client!

Period.

Sure, we get referrals from all sorts of people....past clients, realtors, attorneys and lenders to name a few.  Regardless of all the home inspection company names that may get thrown in a customer's face, they ultimatel must make a decision on only ONE.

Do you realize that the decision they make that instant could totally change their lives and others involved...

Do you realize that the decision they make that instant could totally change YOUR life.

Let me explain.

In a world of global interfacing, people feel that their exposure to the world is so great that many of us may tighten up our protective circle of contacts on a personal level.  I'm not saying that you will ultimately become "best friends" with all of your clients but understand that this basic level of TRUST you gain is a momentous claim in any business endeavor.  Never forget that!

But more importantly NEVER let your "client" lose that "trust".
