West Palm Beach Chapter, presided by Fernando Rosado and
Fort Lauderdale Chapter presided by Heather Johnson

IAHSP from West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale joined forces on September 18, 2008.
We created a much needed Teen Room in the Children Home Society of Florida .
As you are aware teens very seldom get adopted because of the age but they are still in the system until they are adults. That leaves those
less fortunate teens with a "cool hang out" where they can watch movies, play games, use the computer, etc. We took this challenge and
I want to share with you the before and after of their room !

side # 1 the girls went over the day before and painted the walls in a soda pop orange

Heres the End Result and I must tell you the staff was overwhelmed with joy and could not believe we
did all this for them. It just goes to show you That by acting locally , you are helping Globally !

Fernando, It's not only Teen friendly, it's Feng Shui friendly! I could live in that room very happily, it gives off such a wonderful energy!

Way cool! I am Prez of the Raleigh IAHSP and we did a Habitat for Humanity House. We all took different rooms, here are the results!

My crew! (I am the redhead, on the top of the steps)

My biz partner Bobbie McGrath and I did this room - I love girl stuff!

I just looooovvvvvveeeeeee black & cream!

This was a great project. Hopefully more & more people will donate to Habitat!
