I deleted an old post today.  Frankly, I hope most of you never saw it, and none of you remember me for it.  It wasn’t really THAT bad, but it wasn’t something that I wanted to influence peoples’ impressions about what kind of person I am.

Jonathan Greene recently called this a 'virtual billboard'.  Well, if it is that, it’s a virtual billboard with an awfully long memory.  Once you put something “out there” you never know who is going to read it or where it is going to show up.

I want to be recognized for the quality of my contributions, not the quantity.  For me, it’s really very important that I add value to this community, because I am getting so much from it that I want to show my appreciation in return.  THAT is what I want people to know about who I am. Sometimes I am too quick to type ‘guave’, and put something out that doesn’t really say what I want it to say.

So, thank you, delete button for helping me to repair a few little mistakes along the way.

It's so easy to hit SEND. Sometimes that's too quick. Great to be able to DELETE as well.

Maureen, sometimes our fingers work faster than our brain. I've caught myself doing the same thing last week, when I posted a reply to a blog.

Nope, I have never been, but if its on coolidge, I'll find it I'm sure.

And of course I'll buy....I already told you guys I'm old fashioned, there is no way I'd let a lovely lady (or 2 for that matter) pay for their own Ice Cream when I was there.
