This image was recorded July, 2008 in La Jolla California. Image was captured with a tripod mounted Canon EOS 5d and EF 17-40mm F/4 USM lens. Image metadata is as follows: ISO 200, 40mm, f/4.0, 1/13 sec.

My wife and I went to La Jolla for a Photography Vacation and to Visit my Father and Step-Mother who stay in La Jolla for the summers. I have been to LA and Orange Counties numerous times but have never made it to San Diego County before. We both fell in love with the beauty of La Jolla and plan to continue to make Photography excursions to this beautiful part of our country.

Bryant, nice shot.  Blush, what a perfect combination of colors on the water.  Thanks for sharing.

Wow Bryant, this is a gorgeous photo. I put up a lounge chair to my screen with a glass of blush wine, of course and sat there. Thinking this is as good as it gets for now. ~ Newbie

Brenda-

It would make a lovely postcard, I dabbled with selling my images for postcards years ago, unfortunately the return is not that great, 1/1/2 to 2 cents a card sold. Hard to buy expensive equipment at those return rates! =0)

I really wish I could afford a better camera. I really love photography. I'd love to learn more about it. I do pretty well with what I have. I'd just like to learn more. This is beautiful, as usual =)

Bryant- love the pictures of La Jolla. having lived in San Diego for 16 years, I always thought the beach at La Jolla was one of the most beautiful places on earth.  My Daughter even got married on the beach there several years ago.  Even though it was a gloomy day, it was still more beautiful than any indoor church.

San Diego is a photographers dream!

I agree completely with you, I got more "keepers" from my San Diego trip than from any other photography trip I have done in a long time.
