real estate showsI recently started using Jeff Turner's Real Estate Shows to create listing shows for some of my clients with tremendous success!  So far most have been extremely pleased that I am able to provide photography and listing shows as part of my services.  And they have been blown away by them!

My newest show is of before and afters of a recent job to give to agents, and so that they can show them to their clients: Staging your Vacant Property  I will be working on one for an occupied staging before and after next.  They should go hand in hand nicely.

I chose RES solely on the basis of my opinion of Jeff Turner as an amazing individual and did not price shop or compare the hundreds of tour 'factories' out there.  I have been blown away by the ease of use of this software!  It is incredibly simple and fast!  The only drawback is that I end up spending WAY TOO MUCH time changing out the music trying to find the most mis-matched music to tour possible.  Pink panther, mission impossible, space odyssey; I especially like the "Funky 70's Flashback" category.  It has had me in tears from laughing so hard :)

Seriously though, the software is amazing, is simple to use, has a streamlined and professional look, and my tours have my photo and logo on them!   All for an amazing annual fee!  And you can create as many free shows as you want (must purchase with in 14 days or they expire though and you have to start all over).

Last week I posted one of my tours on Sarah Cooper's "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" since no one else had taken her up on it. BTW, her shows are incredible and got me thinking about how I could market myself and my staging services using RES, instead of just using them for creating listing shows for my clients.  In fact, Sarah compiled a great tour of staging tips for homeowners preparing their home for sale!

Shortly after I posted on Sarah's blog she honored me by mentioning my tour on another of her blogs "Are you getting all you can from your tours"

"Stagers, you should be using this tool!  Jessica Hughes is a stager using RES with GREAT results.  Hope she doesn't mind, I'm going to share the show here that she shared with me -- AWESOME way to show off your work, Jessica!  Isn't that a great addition to "flat" pictures? "

Thank you Sarah!

Anyway, inspired by Sarah, I decided to create a RES to market myself to agents, showing before and after photos of one of my most recent vacant staging jobs.  I just created this show this afternoon in a jiffy, but I like how it turned out so I thought I'd share it with you guys.  The hardest part is coming up with the text...

Jessica,

alex with 2 thumbs up  You did a GREAT job -  2 thumbs up too you from Clearwater Beach, FL (Can you tell I've been busy with my digital camera - the model is my oldest son, Alex :-) )

Thanks for sharing. like you - I'm using it so much - today I did 3 tours for an out of town buyer looking at several $7 Million properties - they wanted more info (like views of the neighboring homes, the neighborhood, etc.) It was awesome and adding the extra pics is so nice too.

I have several tours in "Localism" giving tours of neighborhoods, etc. Love all the great ideas to use it for.

Looking forward to seeing more - thanks again for sharing.

You make me blush! Thank you, Jessica. Now, if I can just get everyone to quit using our biggest competitors name [Visual Tour] every time they write about us... we'll be set. :)

Jeff -- you have competitors?  I thought they'd have all gone home with their tails between their legs by now!

Hi, Jessica!  Thanks for the mention!  Another A+ show!!  I love the lines "Desperate Seller ... Or Hip, Trendy Owner?"  WOW, that's quite a hook!  Staging shows are just absolutely the BEST because the houses are just DREAM HOMES.  They make for even better shows when you have that before shot to show me it's only a dream home because you made it so.  Oh, how busy you're going to be now!!!  You may wish for the time BEFORE Real Estate Shows ... Nah.  Busy is good.  Rating you a five out of five and loving your post and show!!

Cyndee~ Thanks for the compliment!  Sound like you've enjoyed using RES as much as I.  Cute kid!

Jeff~ Now you've got me blushing!  Here I was thinking I was using a generic term for one of your shows, and so proud of myself for not calling it a 'virtual tour'.  I did make the disclaimer that I'd not researched the competition before I bought your software. That's your fault for being so darned amazing.  ;)  You must have thought it interesting to see my title in your realestateshows.com group this morning!  Kinda funny actually.

Well, I've been thinking about it and, I think that maybe the word show is better anyway.  Especially for marketing  purposes.  Stage and Show go together.  How about Staging Show and Listing Show?

Sarah~ We seem to have a mutual appreciation thing going on here!  You have been an inspiration to me, thank you very much.  Congrats on your 50,000!  You've just skyrocketed!

Mike, great show.  I know you now I am using RES as well, what I LOVE about it, is it is so simple to use, but the emotional power you can create with it is just amazing.

I recently made one for my kids, of our recent trip to Disneyland, my kids were moved to tears!

I staged my first house yesterday, my clients could'nt wait to see how their house would look on my RES.  The husband phoned me, and couldn't thank me enough.

I agree with Jessica, this a must for stagers, and opens up a great extra service for us.

Sorry I didn't get back to you sooner.  Easter got in the way :)  I had a look at your show and I really like it!

What a great way to promote your area.  I especially liked the music that you chose!  A great first show.

Joelle~ thanks, and I agree!

Okay I am HOOKED!!!!!!!  This is JUST what Ive been looking for.  I have a question -- how do you make the speed slower?  I am playing around with the trial version and it seems to go thru my pix awfully fast.  Did I read it right, $125 for the whole year no matter how many shows I make?  {{ giddy}}.
