In case you didn't know, one of my responsibilities here at ActiveRain is to publish the ActiveRain Newsletter. Each day I select a half dozen or so articles, feature one of our valued members, highlight one of over 4000 community groups, and scour the Internet for a 'featured' video.
Right now, I am in Las Vegas, attending the BlogWorld Convention & Expo. I was one of the speakers on Friday in the Real Estate track, and have been attending many of the sessions today. I will be sharing several posts next week to share some of my thoughts, observations, and lessons learned.
But I digress.....
Back to the newsletter....I have several reasons behind writing this article:
1. Subscriptions: Are you currently receiving the newsletter? If not, I need to know. Send me an email (rich@activerain.com) through the account you want to use for your subscription, along with your Company name, Your ActiveRain member category, i.e., real estate agent, loan officer, stager, etc., First & Last Name, City, State, and phone number.
2. Featured Videos: An inordinate amount of my time is spent trying to find good, meaningful videos to feature in our newsletter. If you have produced one, or come across one that you feel would be of benefit to our community, send a link my way!
3. Suggestions: Last night, I had the privilege of eating dinner with Jeff Dowler, Irina Netchaev, and Ricardo Bueno. Ricardo shared some rather 'pointed' opinions about our newsletter. Okay, so he totally trashed the entire concept (Last time that guy ever gets a Gold Star!). But he did bring up some valid points. As a result, I thought I would simply ask for your input:
What are your thoughts about our newsletter? What do you like about it? Do actually READ it? Are there other elements you'd like to see incorporated?
One member shared with me that she is 'forwarding' the newsletter to other agents and real estate professionals in her area, along with an INVITE link - http://activerain.com/action/referrals/your user name
As always, thanks for your time and thoughtful input!
