I was in attendence the "day that football died", aka when Tom Brady went down. I am a huge Tom Brady fan, not only for his boyish good looks but for his God given talent. Living in New England we have been spoiled with the success of our sports teams for the past 8 years. And it all started with our "Golden Boy" Tom Brady. Believe me I don't think its just one person that wins football games but it is the whole team. There are 44 other members of the New England Patriots. Yesterdays loss to the Miami Dolphins was a bit disappointing and everyone is pointing figures at Matt Cassel. I say it needs to stop.
I believe that Matt Cassell is a talented quaterback. But we have to realize that this man hasn't started a game in 10 years. He's been back-up to some of the game's greatest quaterbacks and those are extremely large cleats to fill. We also have to remember that Tom Brady too was a little green before he got his sea legs. Lossing Tom Brady was a devasting blow to Patriot Nation but we have to have a little faith in our quaterback. I just thank God that next week we have a bye becuase it will give the masterful Bill Bellicheck time to figure out a game plan and for everyone to finally get behind Matt Cassell.
