I don't know about any of you but this Monday morning I don't feel like writing. Reading yes, but just a little, as I spent so much time on the computer this week-end. So today I am just sharing that proverbial "Stop and smell the Roses."

Stop and Smell the Roses

Nothing better for the day then to find something to enjoy. For me it is always Photography, a child's laugh, or just time to sit and watch the world that is living around me every minute.

Here's a quick little Gift to fit today's Relaxing Post. And for all of you that live where Autumn is or will be changing the colors of the trees......oh do take time to enjoy them. They change so fast.

Then this from last night: "Truth is what you get others to believe".....don't you just love that? Tommy Smothers said that during his acceptance speech for his Emmy Award last night. He also said " there was nothing scarier than watching ignorance in action."

Hi George- Thanks, yes I took that picture at a family reunion. Lighting wasn't right, and it wasn't really set up, but hey I loved all the vibrant colors in the rose garden :)

Don't laugh but I'm sort of a Rose connoisseur...I've grown them when we lived in NY but here they don't seem to grow as well...the ones they sell at the supermarket are totally different...almost fake...no thorns like the real ones...we had some really nice ones but after the heat got them they dried up.

Neal- Well, 2 days later I come back here....and no I wasn't sitting in the garden all this time :) And I would never laugh at a man that appreciates Natures Beauty, ever.....I liked this about you :)

Mitzi- My Escrow people would have loved you...I used to go in there every Monday, and would go desk to desk and say Good Morning :) And I agree..... Secretaries are indeed the backbone of everything .

Aren't you lucky! You at least recognize that you should stop and smell the roses...So many would just keep working. Balance is critical to longevity.
