CRRA Fish Fry

Last Thursday was the annual CRRA Candidate Fish Fry in Charlotte, and for all intents and purposes, it was a great event. We have been working feverishly over the last several weeks in an effort to decide on a marketing agency for our neighborhood.

We spent the late spring and early summer holding focus groups in an effort to help us identify the areas we could improve our neighborhood, and raise ourselves to the next level. Though some suggestions were made to that end, it was the consensus of both groups that our main focus should be getting people to the project, because it doesn't matter how good it looks if people aren't coming to see it.

So as I said, we have been working this summer on hiring a new marketing team to focus our efforts in the right places. And I feel that we have chosen a winning team. But back to the Fish Fry, I still think that our greatest asset is continually building our relationships with the real estate community through events like these.

With the number of agents above 10,000 in the Charlotte region now, we have a lot of work cut out for us to raise our awareness within these professional circles, and I believe would put forth a good effort last week at this event. It is interesting to note that traffic on our website was up quite a bit over the weekend, and I feel this is directly associated with our efforts during this event.
