     I agree whole-heartedly with Mary's post.  I also respect the fact that she wrote such a great post with some not so great things going on in her life.  Now that's a lady that can keep  it together!

     I think the "emotion"or the spirit in which some thing is posted can be lost in the translation.  A person may harmlessly tease someone, and the other person could misunderstand.  I would never attack an individual, but I may disagree with an idea.  As long as it is all done with respect, that can't be a bad thing.

The other day I responded to an email regarding a transaction.  I just answered it.  The agent thought that I was upset with her.  I felt terrible.  Of course, I was not upset, and apologized that she misunderstood "the tone" of my email.  I promised her from now on I will use "smiley faces". 

Now don't misunderstand the smiley face, I just hate using "generic".
