southern stuffer

My mouth started watering when I first heard about Southern Stuffer. I love Cajun and Creole food, so Laura and I decided to stop in for lunch a few weeks ago. Kristina welcomed us and we settled in to look at the menu... oh boy!Crawfish Etouffee, Jambalaya, Seafood Gumbo, Po' Boy sandwiches and a whole lot more. We had a nice visit with Kristina, had a delicious lunch and now look forward to our next visit!

After lunch we met chef Byron. We learned they serve up live jazz every Friday night starting at 6:00. As they they at Southern Stuffer, they're putting love on the plate.

Tom, Cajun is great and you and Laura found another top spot in Temecula. Great seeing that you two are having fun out there.

Pappadeaux is as Cajun as Austin gets so far. (that I have found) It's good, but just not the same. But the Crawfish Etouffee and fried Crawfish are good. I have a client that relocated here due to Katrina....She says she is going to teach me Cajun Cooking!

Enjoyed your post and now I'm hungry.  I've been on a milkshake thing lately... Blizzard-crazed. Better watch out as I don't want extra 'junk-in-the-trunk.'

Tom, I went to their website and checked out the Menu -- sure sounds good.  We'll have to check it out in person when we're in CA next July.  :)
