I have been in real estate for about 10 years and have spent all of my adult life in sales of one sort or other and have toyed with affirmations a half dozen times.
I have been receiving emails for about a year from a coach, Dr. Maya Bailey ( I don't know her URL, but you can google her). Her coaching business is based on the 'Secret and the law of attraction'. Occasionally , I would read one of her emails , but was not too interested.
A couple of weeks ago, I happened to stumble on an audio of one of her telecasts. She went into some depth about wealth and client affirmations. I was particularly interested in her client affirmations. For instance: ' My world is filled with fun-loving, clever and exciting clients , that I love to be with'. I started reciting this affirmation and some other variations at various moments of the day and I could feel my attitude and my outlook improving.
This idea felt pithy to me, but the more I dwelled on it, the better I felt! I think part of the issue is that after dealing with a series of difficult peolple, it becomes easy to start looking at all clients as difficult,and not much fun to be with.
I don't know if this works for anyone else, but it's working for me and I am glad I stumbled into this idea.
I would appreciate hearing more comments about affirmations; do they work for you. should I be doing them a special way to optimize my results?
