Wettest Year Ever! - St. Louis, Missouri

By
Real Estate Agent with St. Charles County, Missouri - Prudential Alliance Realtors

I was listening to the radio the other day and found out that this year is the wettest year ever for the St. Louis, Missouri metro area.

It's not really a surprise to me, we have been getting sooo much rain - even in August - but it was surprising to hear an actual number.

Since they started keeping records, this year we have received 22 inches of rain above normal!

Wow!  I'm surprised we're not all getting around in canoes...  :)

Debi,

I'm not surprised either. I remember a long thread that you and I had back in the Spring - then you got Gustav and Ike. :)

I wouldn't mind a little rain. We have no rain in Sacramento and very few really good thunderstorms. Send a little moisture this direction, why doncha? But wait 'til my driveway cures. :)
