The Green is the site of the annual Branford Festival, concerts and the Christmas Tree Lighting.
Much of your shopping can be done in town. There are large grocery stores and department stores as well as convenient neighborhood markets. There are many antique shops and craft centers.
The coastline is divided up into smaller communities which feature beautiful homes ranging from impressive old estates to year round waterfront “cottages”. These communities have a “small town” feeling which is one of this towns greatest assets.
