Today on Yahoo! Real Estate it talks about buyers not buying homes...everyone is sitting...and waiting on WHAT? I know that our economy seems to be falling and people are lossing jobs left and right but the media doesnt help these situations at all!

That yahoo article is way off. All they would have to do is call any local escrow company and ask them how many purchase closings do they have.

Our Local escrow company laid off a lot of people and are not planning on rehiring anytime soon. Those that were laid off are now situated in other jobs. When I ask them if they will consider going back to our escrow company, overwhelmingly they say no. ~ Evelyn

Unfortunately, the economy and unemployment has a lot to do with why people are sitting on their homes. They want to believe that the market will recover relatively soon and that they will get the asking price that they think their home is worth back.
