Last week, I had the privilege of reading dozens of entries for Carnival of Real Estate. One thing that struck me was the difficulty some bloggers had expressing their message.

Since I am challenged by this as well, I wanted to post a few resources that would assist with the development of this skillset. Content is king, getting better at expressing the message will give you an edge.

First, it's important to be comfortable and eliminate distractions. This means comfortable lighting, workspace, and writing tools. For those with ADD distractions {::raises hand::}, check out WriteRoom which offers distraction free writing software for your computer.

Read this fantastic piece on how non-writers can write better.

Need help with good headlines, check out The Modern Life is Rubbish Blog.

Finally "How I Write" by Bertrand Russell is a good piece too.  ~  JB

p.s. What do you do? Any links to great articles on this topic?

Jason, I am going to submit my first post to CoRE this week.  I am not that familiar with it.  Another good blog to read about how to write better is Copyblogger.com.  Thanks for the suggestions, I will check them out.

Thanks for the blog!  I have found the more passionate I am about what I am writing about the better the blog.  Hence; find those things that fire me up good or bad.

Audrey, love copyblogger. Brian Clark was a speaker at BlogWorld this year. Great material, great reference. Thank you.

Thomas, my pleasure. Blog on!

'The Modern Life is Rubbish' link was very useful.  I have always struggled with what to put in a headline.  Thanks!

Stefan. Thanks for the feedback. I struggle too. I don't want to sound cheesy or over the top but I want them to read it! Delicate balance. JB
