Every once in awhile, we get a listing that is just so well appointed compared to its competition, that we can't wait to find a buyer to call it home. A few months ago, we had a 2 BR listing at Turnberry Place that was so tastefully built out with mocha marble floors and warm taupe walls, that my partner, Travis, said to me, "I can't believe we haven't sold that listing. It's just too nice to sit on the market. It deserves an owner. My goal for the week is to sell it." And he did just that. It helped that we had a few cash buyers coming into town, but when Travis showed the unit to the buyer, the buyer said,"Why didn't you show this to me first? I 'd have bought it right off the bat & you would have saved yourself a bunch of time!"
Travis showed the buyer what he asked for & thought he wanted, which was condo-hotel units at the Signature at MGM Grand. The units were just not roomy enough to accomodate the buyer's large family. Then Travis took him to the unfurnished stunner at Turnberry Place and the deal was done with the condition that upon closing, we find someone to furnish it for him. I have a girlfriend - who is a great shopper, has elegant taste, is a good listener & VOILA! Done Deal!
