Cyndee- We are staying at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort right down the street from the Convention center. We stayed there for the homeschool convention and I loved it! See you there! Do you have prints of Hawaii that you can bring with you, like a scrapbook?

Cyndee - I'm THIS close to booking, LOL! Still debating, but will be making a decision by this weekend. Hope I get to meet some computer friends soon too!

Lisa - I hope you make it - My advise... book this room deal before they sell out and then they let you up to 24 hrs in advance so you don't miss the deal :) I'm keeping my fingers crossed you can come. I know at this price it made it easier for me too decide to go too!!

Oh Mana - I understand...one day we'll meetup :) Katrina and I will be there Sun - Weds for BRO Main event and then Fri-Mon for NAR - Jack's gonna stay here and sell house while I play to pay for it all - LOL!!

We had actually booked that and then they sold it out. We decided to get a three b/r condo for $90/night instead. Brining down the family and spending time at DisneyWorld... I might see part of the convention. I KNEW that would happen.

Lane - the good news is you'll be there! I can't wait to meet you in person!!! :) Can you change condo plans? How old are your kids? Mine are 7 and 12 and might come over one day (we're lucky cause we've got FL Resident passes)

Hey Lisa - (and others) on the advice of experienced Convention goers I'm signing up for the Expo ($25) and spending the rest of the time "networking" ...is it gonna be a great time or what :) so for @$125 and travel costs - hmmmm now you just need cheap air fare.

P.S. I'll have my car so email me if you want to discuss plans :)

Wow, Cyndee. Now that's a deal. I would love to go but not sure it's in the budget or my travel time. We'll see. Should be fun and will look forward to hearing from folks if I don't get there.

This sounds to good to be true...what is the catch? Have you stayed there before? Why are the rooms so cheap????

Cyndee - The reason I would go is to see *you* and some others on my "still need to meet list" !!!! I'm crossing fingers... but not making any commitments till later...... wish I could do all these meetups conferences!

I'm not going but what a tremendous price. Hope it's a nice place to stay.

Thanks for the post; I'm already checked into a hotel suite with 2 bedrooms as the Pres-Elect is also coming with me; my association is paying for us. Can i be part of the AR meeting? I would love that.

Lane - I have to admit - I'm not bringing my kids ( but they may come over one day) - I was able to block the time out to come play with friends from the RAIN. Of course we live here and get over to Disney, etc. pretty easily so I can get away with this. Those are great ages to take your kids and Nov is a great time because the weather isn't oppressive and the lines are much shorter.

Justin - I can tell you I'm gonna work on having a BLAST! thanks for stopping by :)

Trevella - It's definitely a long way from Hawaii (I got to visit your state for 2 weeks this summer and loved it) - We're lucky we both live in pieces of paradise.

Jean - I have not stayed there before but I am GOING THIS WEEKEND to give it the once over and give the boys some play time at Disney so I can report back but it is a Disney Good Neighbor Hotel and I expect it to be nice - it's normal in Orlando to have great hotel deals in Oct - Jan when things are slower. Hope you can make it.

Diane - that's what I thought - It makes the whole trip more doable for many in this crazy market. Wish you could be there too!

Candace - the NAR convention dates are Nov 7-10th - I'm just going for the Expo ($25) and to play with friends like you - keep me posted if it works out. Hows your blog doing? :)

I've stayed there before. Not a bad place and its really close to the Disney Market Place where there is a great restaurant called The Rain Forrest Cafe. They have the best Cob Salad!!!!
