One of the interesting things about being a notary signing agent is some of the places where we do the closings. It's not always at the borrower's home or place of work.

Last summer I was called to do a closing for a borrower who was traveling with her family through Colorado in their RV. If it were in a fixed location, all I would need is an address. But they were on the road, and I had to find a way to meet with them. It took a bit of communication by cell phone, and the ability of the borrower to give good directions, but we managed to find a place to meet in an open area.

'Houston, we have soft dock.'

I got out of my car and went into their RV to do the closing. After all of the documents were signed, I left and they drove off to continue with their vacation. Now that's what you call a convenience to the borrower.
