Despite what you are viewing on the news today there has never been a better time to buy a home. The current interest rate is at a all time low and when you partner this with the incredable deals for homes in the market right now it is the best time to buy. The other factors to consider in this market is the fact that with the financial buyer programs like the OFA program and the federal housing package offering a down payment assistance tax credit why would you not want to buy and take advantage of these incredable deals?.
For you sellers out there I understand your caution in selling your home at this time but lets really take a look at the bigger picutre and what I mean by this is we all understand that you will probably be taking less for your home today than you would have 2 years ago but the positive part of this market condition is that you will be buying your next (move up) home for less also, couple this with the very low interest rates available and now you are in a lower payment than you would have had 2 years ago if you would have bought then. This being said don't take it personal that you are not getting what you thought you would for your current home and look at it as I am receiving a better home at a discounted price.
